Hojala - Hand-Painted Oaxacan Earrings

Oaxacan hand-painted hoja de lata tin tasseled earrings. I met Claudia at one of the local markets over Día de Muertos and loved her combination of Oaxaca’s crafts to create these light, playful earrings.

These earrings combined the famous "alebrije" painting style with silky fun tassels on light hammered tin (another craft Oaxaca is famous for and is said by locals to ward off by bad spirits). Each one is handmade and one of a kind.
